Chicken and Seasoning

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken strips: Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken strips to the bowl and toss thoroughly to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  2. Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for 3-5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  3. Cook the chicken: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the seasoned chicken strips in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping the strips halfway through, until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked through.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Remove the chicken from the air fryer. On each whole wheat tortilla, place a layer of fresh spinach leaves, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, and finally add the cooked chicken strips on top.
  5. Roll and prepare the wraps for crisping: Roll the tortillas tightly to enclose the filling. Lightly spray the outside of each wrap with olive oil spray to help achieve a crispy texture.
  6. Crisp the wraps: Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the tortillas become crispy and golden brown.
  7. Serve: Carefully remove the crispy wraps from the air fryer. Let them cool for a minute, then slice each wrap in half. Serve warm with ranch dressing on the side, if desired.
