Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, loosely measured (divided into 3/4 cup and 1/4 cup)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup spinach, frozen, thawed and liquid squeezed out

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it reaches the correct temperature before baking the dip.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, drained and squeezed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, minced garlic, and 3/4 cup of the grated parmesan cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Prepare Baking Dish: Grease an 8×8 inch or similar sized baking dish, or a glass pie dish, to prevent sticking and for easy serving.
  4. Assemble Dip: Transfer the mixed dip into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly. Then sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  5. Bake the Dip: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the cheese on top is slightly golden.
  6. Serve Warm: Remove from oven and serve the dip warm alongside crackers, bread, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • For best results, use cream cheese at room temperature to ensure easy mixing.
  • Squeeze out excess water from thawed spinach to avoid a watery dip.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a tangier and lower-fat version.
  • This dip can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
